1.Find some pictures that depicts the sword you want to make, better from different angles of view, so you can get the specific details. 2.Sketch the shape of it on a large piece of paper. 3.Cut out the sword, and omit the trivial jag. 4.In some cases, the handle of the sword should a separated part from the main sword. As a result, you can make a joint to attach the two parts with strong glue. 5.Find a piece of long-shaped wood to make the blade. Carve it with some carpenter tools such as a pushknife. Then, sand the blade smooth. You can use coarse sandpaper to finish the first shaping section, then use fine ones to finish some subtle part. 6.Watch the reference picture carefully, then start to make the handle part. Use different material to form the frame of the handler, such as paperclay or dremel. 7.Sand every part smooth again. 8.Paint the entire sword with a few layers of gesso, sand between each layer.Color the sword with enamel.
